Chocolate is one ingredient that is loved by kids and adults alike. Chocolate helps us make many delicious recipes. Almost all desserts contain chocolate as part of their main ingredient and it is definitely a special treat for every kid. Here are the two best recipes that you can try this winter.
1. Creamy chocolate fudge
Ingredients:
- 1 bowl of marshmallow cream
- ½ cups of white sugar
- 2/3 cup of evaporated milk
- ¼ cup of oil
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- ½ cup of chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Recipe:
- Line an aluminium foil pan of 8x8 inches. Put it aside.
- Combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in a large saucepan over medium heat. Take to a full boil and bake, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add in some chips of semi-sweet chocolate and chips of milk chocolate. Stir until chocolate is melted and you see a smooth mixture.
- Add some nuts and almonds and stir is properly. Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole. Chill for 2 hours in the fridge, or until solid.
2. Chocolate cookies
Ingredients
- ½ cup of butter
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ spoon of vanilla extract
- ½ cup of all-purpose of flour
- ½ cup of non-sweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 bowl of cherries
- ½ cup of condensed milk
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven for sometime
- In a pan, mix the butter and sugar. Add in coffee and egg and mix well. Stir until it is smooth. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder and stir it again. Roll the mixture over the size of a walnut into1-inch ball (larger if desired) with your hands. Place on the surface of the ungreased cookie sheet. Press down in the centre of each chocolate ball.
- Drain the cherries and set aside the juice. Place a cherry on each cookie ball
- Heat condensed milk and chocolate chips until chips are melted in a saucepan.
- Add 4 teaspoons of cherry juice. Sprinkle over each cherry about 1 teaspoon of the mixture and scatter to cover the cherry.
- Cook for 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
