Goan Vindaloo is yet ar Portuguese influenced dish. Vin comes from word vinegar and ahlo in Portuguese means garlic. dish was earlier called Vindahlo but because of use of potatoes in dish people started calling it Vindaloo. As aloo means potatoes in Hindi. Goan Vindaloo included pork, onions, vinegar along with garlic and or spices to d flavour to dish. mixture is n stored overnight and n later dish is me using essential herbs and onions. People in goa believe older dish gets, tastier it will become as meat gets marinated appropriately and absorbs all flavour.

Ambot Tik

Ambot tik is ar famous dish from Goan cuisine. word Ambot in name of dish means sour and tik means spicy. dish includes Kokum which makes dish sour while red chillies are used to spice up flavour. Later fish is diced and tossed with onions, tomatoes and masala.
