For every Indian, Roti is a basic food which is consumed almost daily. This nutritious food item can be eaten and mixed with anything. Even leftover Roti can be made into mouth-watering dishes. Let us have a look at how leftover Rotis can make dining pleasing.

Three Leftover Roti recipes

Roti Pizza

While talking about recipes to utilize leftover Rotis, one can never miss roti pizza. Making roti pizza is not rocket science as it is effortless. Put the roti on the pan and use some ghee or butter. Prepare pizza sauce and veggies to spread it on the roti. To give it pizza feels sprinkle some chilli flakes, oregano and pepper. Heating it in low flame until the veggies are not cooked well. Make sure the roti is crispy and thick as a base.

Frankie

Making a frankie is simple and one can make them effortlessly at home. Put the roti on the pan to be heated with butter. Flip and adjust so that the roti does not stick to the pan. Make sure it is not thick because, for rolls or frankies, rotis are supposed to be thin and soft. Add the potato smashed masala on the roti. One can prepare this item according to their preference by combining schezwan sauce, mayonnaise, cheese or noodles.

Quesadilla

Quesadilla is yummy and an easy-to-make item. To make a Quesadilla, Mexican sauce is very important. Mexican sauce is usually made by mixing cumin seeds, green chillies, garlic, onion, tomato paste, basil leaves, oregano and saute till brownish-red. This mixture is later boiled with some sugar, salt and tomato ketchup. Spread the Mexican sauce over the leftover roti (after heating the roti on the pan with butter or oil). Later, put all the veggies, a small portion of cheese (over the Mexican sauce) and jalapeños. Add the remaining cheese over the Quesadilla. Apply some oil and heat it on the pan and Quesadilla is prepared.
