Cannon’s Pav Bhaji

Tucked away in a corner close to the CST station, this pav bhaji stall is an assuming spot to relish an orangey and mildly flavoured bhaji with nicely toasted pav-bread. Generally, Mumbai local-train passengers and tourists walk over to this place for a quick bite. The appetising aroma of pav bhaji lingering in the air always leaves one longing for more.

Bademiya

For the chicken and mutton lovers, this is just a few minutes of walk away from Taj Mahal Place or Hotel. Here, one can find a variety of dishes be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Their essence of making venerable mixtures of spices has brought out the true flavour in some of the famous dishes of Bademiya. Their bheja fry, guda fry, kebabs, and baida roti with onion & green chutney are some of their signature dishes one must try.

Kirti College vada pav

Also known as Ashok vada pav, this famous dish has won several hearts. Interestingly the chutney and the batter for the vada is prepared using 40 food items. The popular joint has found a mention in various food magazines and celebrities such as Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff and Sushmita Sen often visit the place to enjoy vada pavs.

Kyani & Co.

Kyani & Co. is one of the oldest Irani cafes in the heart of Mumbai known for its zingy, red, mouthwatering kheema pav. The place continues to carry the essence of traditional Irani culture even today. It is located opposite Mukta Cinemas in South Mumbai.
