From roasting them to bring out the sweetness of it or sauting them with veggies for a meal, mushrooms are not just restricted to Chinese cuisine. Mushrooms are widely used in Punjabi dishes, Goan curries and a variety of other Indian cuisines. Mushrooms are rich in Vitamin D, protein and carbohydrates. They help in treating several diseases. All you need is vegetables and mushrooms for this recipe. Sauté vegetables of your choice in a pan and add mushroom to it. In the end, add salt and herbs to add flavour. You can even add tofu or Paneer to it. This will make it a healthier meal.

Mushroom and rice
Mushroom and rice both are some of the most experimental ingredients that go well when combined together. There are different types of rice and mushroom preparation. This includes fried rice, pulao, biryani, etc. You can saute some whole spices like pepper, cardamom, dalchini and allow them to crackle. To this, add chopped onions, garlic and ginger. Cook them until golden brown and add tomatoes to it. Add mushrooms and mix everything well with salt and spices. Add soaked rice and mix with vegetables. Add water or coconut milk. Delicious mushroom rice is ready in minutes.

Switch from unhealthy options of patties to a healthy mushroom patty. Take two whole wheat buns, add lentils, onion, and tomato sliced between the buns. You can add cheese for extra flavour. Also, patties can be made of mushroom and paneer for a flavourful and filling burger.

An easy-to-make healthy starter option is stuffed mushroom balls. Also, this recipe takes very little time to make. Cut the mushrooms and scoop out the cap. In a pan, heat butter and add chopped onions and garlic. Saute until golden brown and add tomatoes. Remove from flame and allow it to cool. Grate cheese in the filling and fill up the scooped out mushroom caps. Next is to bake them in an oven for 4 minutes at 220 degrees. Your delicious mushroom stuffing delicacy is all set to be served.

Mushroom in Chinese preparation
Vegetables go well with all Chinese dishes and so do mushrooms. Some of the easy-to-make Chinese delicacies with mushrooms are Manchurian and chili mushrooms. Repeat your regular mushroom recipe but just replace cauliflower with mushrooms. Next, make Manchurian gravy with spring onions, green chilies, onion, ginger and garlic. Add soya sauce and salt to taste and mix everything well. To this, add fried mushrooms and let it cook for 1 minute. Your mushroom Manchurian is ready to serve.
