Most of the times, however, rashes are minor and can be treated at home. Let us take a look at five easy natural remedies for rashes that you should try.
Cure rashes at home with these natural home remedies
1. Remove rashes with olive oil
Olive oil has been reported to help the skin. It is rich in antioxidant properties and Vitamin E to remove rashes. Its soothing qualities also help reduce the itching. Rub extra-virgin olive oil on the affected area every day till it heals. If allergic to olive oil, you can use coconut oil to remove rashes.
2. Remove rashes with baking soda
Baking soda is terrific for curing skin rashes and inflammation. Mix some baking soda with coconut oil and apply daily for till your rash heals. If preferred, you could also add baking soda to water to remove rashes. Also, do not let the baking soda sit for a long time as it could cause further irritation in some cases.
3. Remove rashes with Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is excellent in getting rid of rashes. It contains antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties which can help treat the rashes. We recommend applying fresh Aloe Vera gel once a day till it completely heals. If unavailable, you can also use Aloe Vera pulp.
4. Remove rashes with oatmeal
Oatmeal is a useful option as it deals with irritation and inflammation. It specifically helps with rashes caused by poison ivy, eczema, sunburn and allergies. Cover the affected area with a mix of grounded oatmeal and warm water for 15-20 minutes to remove rashes. For face rashes, add some oatmeal to yogurt and apply.
5. Remove rashes with coriander
This popular garnish has plenty of anti-irritant and antiseptic properties that might help you remove rashes. Apply a paste of coriander leaves to the affected area once or twice a day to help heal your rash. Drinking coriander seed tea can also fasten your healing process. If not tea, you can also try coriander juice.
