But just like it's that one time of the year where you can dress up in your favourite DIY outfits, we think you should also get creative with DIY Halloween decorations for your home. Turning your home into a haunted mansion could be the costliest task on Halloween. And depending on how spooky you want your home to look, you could easily spend a hefty amount on spider webs, fake tombstones, and plastic skeletons. 1) Boo Bottles

Raid your recycling bin to make the glass ghosts in four easy steps: First, remove labels and caps from bottles. Spray-paint them white, then draw faces on them with a black marker. To finish this cheap Halloween decoration, throw in colourful straws for cute centrepieces.

2) Vampire Napkin Rings

Spooky chompers on Halloween will make your table settings look scary. For this, Splash white cloth napkins with red paint, thread a white twist tie through a set of plastic vampire teeth and finally secure a twist tie around the centre of your napkin. This is one of the easiest and quickest Halloween DIYs.

3) Creepy Wall Hangings

If painting is something that even slightly interests you, you should definitely try out this DIY.  Make sure you have at least two bottles of black fabric paint colour for this DIY at first. Wooden embroidery hoops are available in the craft store for very cheap. If fabric paintings aren’t your thing, pop images into frames and hang them up around the house.

4) Spooky Lanterns

These DIY Halloween decorations are easy on the pocket and cheerful as well. Draw spooky faces on empty, clean milk jars, paint them white entirely. Then fill the jars with white holiday lights to decorate your hallway with a ghostly Halloween glow.
