Karisma Kapoor and Shweta Bachchan attend Ritu Nanda's birthday

The Kapoor and Nanda families recently met to celebrate Ritu Nanda’s birthday. The lunch party was attended by Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Nikhil Nanda, Anissa Malhotra, Riddhima Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and several others. Ritu Nanda is Karishma Kapoor’s aunt and Shweta Bachchan’s mother-in-law.

Karishma Kapoor took to Instagram to share pictures from the elaborate lunch. In the picture, one can see Armaan Jain and his fiancée Anissa Malhotra, the Nanda siblings, i.e Nitasha and Nikhil, and Riddhima Kapoor, along with Karishma Kapoor. Karishma looked dapper in a polka-dotted blouse with a neck tie-up. She paired the blouse with black trousers and cat-eyed sunglasses. Karishma captioned the picture “Brothers and Sisters”.

In another post that was shared by fashion designer, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, we can see the big khandan. In the picture, we can see various members of the Kapoor family including Karishma, Babita, Neetu, and the Nanda family including Nikhil, Nitasha, and Shweta Bachchan. All in all, one can definitely call it a grand get-together of the Kapoor and Nanda families.

For those who do not know, Shweta Bachchan is married to Karisma Kapoor’s cousin, businessman Nikhil Nanda. Shweta’s brother, Abhishek Bachchan, was also engaged to Karisma Kapoor for a brief period before they eventually broke it off. Karisma Kapoor, now divorced, then married businessman Sanjay Kapur, and Abhishek Bachchan married Aishwarya Rai.

The Kapoor family is known for their elaborate family get-togethers and family celebrations. They are often spotted spending time together. They also have a ritual of celebrating almost every festival together.
