La Tomatina festival from Spain is a well-known phenomenon. People gar around and indulge in a tomato fight for pure entertainment and fun. festival was portrayed in a very fun way in a song sequence for film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara where cast of film was seen playing with tomatoes. Interestingly, people in Gomatapura, South India have ir own version of La Tomatina festival with a twist. People in this village of South India annually celebrate festival of Goraihabba where people indulge in throwing and playfully fighting with cow dung after y collect it from cattle farmers.

festival also includes people from Kairuppala and or nearby villages if Andhra Presh. It takes place one day after Ugi festival, people take part in throwing cow dung reportedly in name of Goddess Bhrakali. As per reports, it is believed by people that participating in this festival brings prosperity, good health and sufficient rain in villages. Some participants also get injured in playful cow dung war but it is believed by villagers that injuries occurred while playing war will heal within three days.
