Raman Festival History 

Raman is holy month for Muslims and followers of Islam where y fast, introspect and pray. It is observed as month during which Muhamm received initial doctrines of Quran, holy book for Muslims. Fasting is one of five fundamental principles of Islam. 

According to Islamic beliefs, around 610 A.D. a man named Muhamm (c.570-632) from Arabian city of Mecca started receiving revelations from God, or Allah, via angel Gabriel. prophecies were said to be collected in a 114 chapter holy book kwn as  Quran, which is believed to contain  exact words of God. According to  religious followings, Muhamm was  final prophet in a line of prophets who were chosen by God to act as messengers and teach mankind.

Raman Festival Significance 

Raman festival is considered as sacred month and most significant month as per tritional Islamic calendar. holy month is spent by Muslim community throughout world in great anticipation of almighty and self while offering prayers, fasting and feasting. month-long fasting during Raman is recognised as one of five pillars of Islam.  most significant fact of this month as per Holy Quran is that Prophet Muhamm received first verses of holy text during Raman.

Raman Festival Celebration 

During Raman festival month, each day Muslims do t consume any food or water from sunrise to sunset. y are also deemed to avoid impure thoughts and b behaviour during holy month. Muslims break ir daily fasts by sharing meals with family and friends. last day of Raman is celebrated with a three-day festival kwn as Eid al-Fitr, one of Islam’s major holidays.
