Gotokuji Temple
Gotokuji Temple is also kwn as ' Lucky Cat Temple'. temple is located in Setagaya ward of Tokyo. It is said to be birthplace of maneki-neko or 'luck-inviting cat figurine', 'neko' meaning 'cat'. small statues show a cat sitting up with one of its paw lifted up in air in a beckoning gesture.
