town of Bhangarh lies on edge of Sariska forest in Rajasthan. Bhangarh is a city in India that was built in 1613 and is famous for its historic ruins within Bhangarh Fort. It is situated in Alwar district, Rajgarh municipality in Rajasthan. During rule of Bhagwant Das, town was established as residence of his second son Mho Singh, younger bror of general of Emperor Akbar, Man Singh I.

One of myth says that that King Mho Singh founded city of Bhangarh after receiving ascetic permission from Guru Balu Nath, who was meditating re. Guru Balu Nath approved town's establishment but he also cursed Bhangarh Town and said: moment show of your palace touches me you are undone. city shall be more!  But one of ambitious descendants raised palace to such a height that it cast a show over forbidden retreat of Balu Nath, and his prophecy became true as predicted, devastating entire city. samhi that is said to lie to Guru Balu Nath is still re.

Ar myth involves legend of Bhangarh's Princess Ratnavati. She was considered to be Rajasthan's most beautiful princess at that time. As per legend, as soon as she turned 18, she started getting marri proposals from many guys. A Tantrik, called Singhia, was also in love with princess but knew that match was impossible. So, Singhia planned to trick princess and get her into his hands. One day, he saw princess in market and planned to trick her by using his black magic on oil that she was going to buy. oil's magic would make princess surrender herself to him once she touches oil. But, plan failed as princess caught him enchant oil and poured  oil on ground. As oil struck ground, it turned into a boulder, cursing Singhia to death. Before dying, Tantrik reportedly cursed place. Legend says that  year after Tantrik's death, re was a war between Bhangarh and Ajabgarh in which Princess Ratnavati died.

According to Speaking tree, re are ghosts in Bhangarh, which is why visitors are t allowed to enter fort after sunset and before sunrise. Locals assume that Princess Ratnavati was born elsewhere and that Bhangarh's fort and kingdom are waiting for her return to put an end to curse. If you re sign of Archeological Survey of India, you will find some unusual instructions given by government indicate indirectly that site is haunted as it is strictly forbidden to visit fort before sunrise and after sunset.
