Watching the towering figures of Ravana, Meghnad, and Kumbhakaran burned to the ground has always been a mesmerizing affair. The numerous food stalls and joy rides are something no one can miss. Dussehra is a festival that marks the victory of good over evil. The main feature of Dussehra and the preceding Navratri (9 nights) has been the enactment of scenes from Ramayana in the form of Ramlila performances.

Bollywood Dandiya Raas
One of the biggest Dandiya events in Delhi is the Bollywood Dandiya Raas at the Kingdom of Dreams. It has 3 days of fun, food, and dandiya making it a perfect Dussehra celebration. They also witness surprise visits from Shah Rukh Khan and other Bollywood celebs over the years. One can definitely hope for some Bollywood glamour in addition to the existing long line-up of performances.

Shree Dharmik Leela Committee
The Shree Dharmik Leela Committee organizes one of the best Ramlilas in Delhi. The Ramlila shows huge figures of Ravana, Kumbhakaran, and Meghnad being burnt to the ground. They also host a Dussehra Mela where the food stalls are popular amongst the attendees. People from all over Delhi visit here for the experience.

Garba Dandiya Raas
Away from the hustle-bustle of city life, this is one place where you can enjoy the Dussehra celebration in Delhi. At Zorba the Buddha, Ghittorni hosts Garba Dandiya Raas. It is a fun-filled dance evening with a delicious dinner buffet. A dance teacher will instruct you, at the begin of each dance evening. They also acquaint the guests with the basics of dandiya. It has been an amazing experience throughout the years and it gets better each year if the crowds visiting are anything to go by.

Shri Ram Lila Committee
The Nav Shri Dharmic Leela Committee manages to fascinate in the younger crowds. The Ramlila show here is quite spellbinding. The special effects used in the show manage to hold the crowd’s attention until the very end. Many locals come here every single year to watch the tallest Raavan burned. Also, they feature a host of yummy food stalls too.

Shri Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra
Being a cultural organization, their Ramlila shows are a culturally-learning experience. Every year, they put up an interesting Ramlila dance drama for the locals and visitors alike. Though the story remains the same, the choreography, dance style, and actors change every year and that’s what keeps the show alive. Their shows are always eagerly awaited by all - come take a look-see!
