The idea of travelling to such places is thrilling for many. Many such haunted places have some interesting background stories which add to the thrills. So, here are some of the most known haunted places in Delhi that you may not want to visit alone.
Delhi Cantonment
This is one of the alleged haunted places in Delhi. Established by the British in the year 1914, the place is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman who asks for a lift at night. If refused, she would chase you down.
Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal
Located near Karol Bagh, the mahal is said to be haunted by spirits of various types. Though the truth about the paranormal presence in Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal is yet to be established, the place definitely gives a haunted vibe. The dense forest around it adds to the spooky vibes.
Sanjay Van
It is a dense forest right in the heart of the city. The density of the forest makes it difficult to track your way out, making it more spooky. Apparently, many people have complained of hearing unsettling weird noises from the forest.
Jamali Kamali
It is a mosque located near Mehrauli Archaeological Park. The place is not so popular among the tourists, but it is known to be the resting place for spirits. Many have reported having spooky experiences. Though not sure about its haunted status, the place is isolated and will send shivers down your spine for sure.
Khooni Darwaza
Also known as the Lal Darwaza, the place is located near Delhi Gate, on the Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. The place is known to have witnessed a lot of terrific incidents. Apparently, Augagzeb's killed his elder brother Dara Shikoh and displayed his head at the entrance of the Lal Darwaza. So, the paranormal stories started emerging from here and the gate has earned the reputation of being one of the most haunted places in Delhi.
