Gateway of India

Gateway of India is on top of tourist attraction list of city. This historical place was built in 1911 to hour visit of King George V, who was King of United Kingdom and Queen Mary. entire monument is me of yellow basalt and concrete. It has some elements that are inspired by Indo-Islamic and Indian architecture, which are mixed with gothic architecture.

Kanheri caves
