For people who love collecting souvenir or antiques, this is best place to be. Visiting this place any day between 9 am to 7 pm is best suggested. According to local vendors, antique pieces and wooden items are hand-carved and me locally. market is also called Tibetan market.

Shimla is kwn for its slow-moving passenger toy trains. Kalka Shimla toy train is a historic train that paves its way through serene hills of Shimla. re are four trains to and from which cost between 60 to 500 rupees depending on of ticket. four-hour journey is worth all effort. 

Skiing

best place to visit in Shimla is Kufri, a sw-capped hill station. name of hill station means lake. extensive slopes and smooth sw cover offers excellent skiing tracks. best time to visit this place is between September to January.

venture sports enthusiasts can try rafting in Tattapani. Tattapani is located 50 km away from Shimla and can be reached within 2 hours of driving. rafting range offers 14-30 km routes for any outdoor lover.

Walk through pine forest of Summerhill. Located very near to bus-stand of Shimla, this route offers scenic moments and one can track this easy trek distance in a mere three hours. best time to visit is between January to June.
