A firsthand look took place a couple of days before Galaxy’s Edge opens at California me park on Friday. That’s when guests with a pre-reservation can experience largest single-med land created in a Disney park.

Disney officials said it took more five years to develop and finish attraction.
“I’m very excited about being this close to inviting guests and our biggest fans to join us at edge of galaxy,” said Scott Trowbridge, portfolio creative executive and studio leer at Walt Disney Imagineering. He spoke in front of First Order TIE echelon ship.

“We h fans in mind whole time,” he said. “We’ve been able to kind of open it up to m and invite m to kind of join us on this remote outpost planet.”
Disney christened land Wednesday night with a firework display and an assembly of some of biggest names in “Star Wars” universe: creator George Lucas and actors Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Billy Dee Williams.

Galaxy’s Edge is an venture through grungy planet Batuu, a remote world in newest “Star Wars” trilogy, and fight between Resistance and evil First Order. sprawling 14-acre land has three different areas including Resistance, First Order, and Vill.

Guests can build ir own droids and lightsabers and interact with aliens. y can also step into cockpit of Millennium Falcon, exact replica of ship from films, measuring more than 100 feet long. interactive experience allows a team of six people to operate craft during interactive experience.
Some familiar faces including Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and fan-favorite Chewbacca will be a part of venture as visitors explore immersive world.
Guests can take a swig of same kind of blue milk that me an appearance with Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars: A New Hope.” dairy-free milk is a frozen blend with dashes of citrus taste.
Disneyland was second most popular me park in world last year with 18.6 million visitors. It is second only to Disney World in Florida, where a version of Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open Aug. 29.
