Andaman and Nicobar Island is one the beautiful spot and the union territory in India. With its gorgeous green-blue water beaches and underwater wonders, the Andaman and Nicobar travel island is one of the ideal places to be. The archipelago has around 572 islands of which only 36 are open for the tourists. There are many interesting things to do on this island. Here are few of them listed.
Watersports:
There are several things to do on this island but the most attractive thing here is watersport. Commercial fishing has been banned from four decades but the tourist and the local people can go ahead and enjoy the water sport like snorkelling, scuba diving, banana boat rides, undersea walking, Jet skiing, Speed boating. Each activity has its own thrilling experience which should be acquainted at least once in whole life.

Cellular Jail:
Cellular Jail was built so the prisoners who were called as a freedom fighter of India should get disconnected from the outer world and hence it was called as Kaala Pani Ki Saza. The prisoners were kept individual and in very small cells and asked to do work for several hours on oil extractor which was made of iron were needed to be driven by bare hands. The jail has six major jail buildings and now the three of the long jail building are opened for the tourist and the rest are not in use.

Dense mangroves at Baratang, Mud Volcanoes, Limestone caves:
Baratang is still considered an adventurous trip because of its dense forest and mangroves rides. Baratang is no doubt a dish serving dense forest, mangroves, boat rides through the mangroves, beaches, birds, caves, trekking and mud volcano. The top surface of the mud volcanoes can be seen very clearly by tourist.

Tribals and Sentinels:
The isolated tribe’s which are not contacted for 55,00 years as called as Jarawa tribes. The word Jarawa means hostile or foreign. They live happily in the deep forest of the Andaman. The north sentinels and south sentinels have often been seen violently rejecting the contact with the outside world as they prefer to stay in the jungle even now.

Radhanagar beach:
This beach is counted among the most beautiful beaches of Asia. Radhanagar Beach is incredibly astounding beach located on Andaman Island. The turquoise blue sea and white sand make this beach a perfect spot to lie exposed in the warmth of the sun and light in the midst of nature.
