World Braille Day is celebrated every year on January 4 on Louis Braille’s birthday.  Louis Braille inventor of braille was born in 1806 in France. He became blind after a childhood accident but quickly mastered his new way of living. He created system which is kwn as braille.  system of writing was later developed by Charles Barbier. Today, braille is used all around world. As per research, 37 million people across globe are blind and over 15 million are from India. Let us take a look at some of braille friendly places in India.

Kerala

Kerala is preparing to become India’s first all-accessible tourist destination. While Kochi Fort became first herit site for  differently-abled in 2016. Apart from this, Kannur is also one of braille friendly places in India. re is also a Federation for blind people in Kerla kwn as Kerala Federation of blind.
