During the hearing before Special CBI judge MK Nagpal, Singh has appealed to the court to direct the jail authority to allow him to consult his personal doctor for treatment.

Singh said that he was a diabetes patient and also suffered from glaucoma.

To this, the court directed the jail authorities to get Sanjay Singh treated by a doctor. The Judge said that adequate security arrangements will be made for the same.

However, the Court noted that Sanjay Singh and his lawyers should ensure that the party's supporters do not gather in the hospital so that other patients do not face problems.

The court also allowed Sanjay Singh to sign two checks to meet the expenses of the family.

The court allowed Sanjay Singh to sign the letter written to the Commissioner Municipal Corporation of Delhi through which he has demanded distribution of funds for development works in his parliamentary constituency.

Singh was arrested on October 4 by the Enforcement Directorate. This was after searches were conducted at his residence in Delhi.

Last week, Delhi High Court dismissed the plea moved by Singh challenging his arrest and remand in the money laundering case related to the liquor policy scam.
