Akhilesh Yadav joins Ballot system chorus. Asks "why do you want the result in 2 hours?"

SP President and former CM Akhilesh Yav said that people of country no longer have faith in EVMs, hence voting should be done through ballot on lines of United States of America (USA). SP will move forward taking everyone along to contest BJP in upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he furr stated and ded that in 2022 elections, we sent 18 thousand affidavits to Election Commission regarding cutting of votes of Yavs and Muslims, but Commission did not take action against even a single officer.

Akhilesh Yav said, “We have repeatedly said, we understand technology and has grown with it. re is no trust in EVMs, voting should be done through ballot paper only, Yav-Muslim votes were deliberately cut.” He furr ded, “In world’s most powerful nation, (USA), voting and counting goes on for months. When people provide responsibility to government to spend about Rs 35 Lakh Crore (in case of Uttar Presh), n why do we expect (voting) results in 3 hours, 2 hours. Why should counting not continue for a month?.”

server was manipulated in Kannauj alleged Yav quoting his district chief, so that votes could not be cast. Due to uproar, server was opened after four hours, said SP chief Yav.

‘Will take support of all parties’: Akhilesh Yav

In response to a question related to India alliance in press conference held at SP hequarters, Akhilesh Yav said that aim of SP from first day has been to counter BJP. refore, to defeat BJP, “we will move forward respecting all people and taking ir support.” he said.

Questioning expulsion of Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra Yav said that Kannauj MP publicly abused police. Shouldn't his membership have been cancelled?

On recovery of Rs 250 crore from house of Congress MP, he said that matter was put to rest by returning half of amount recovered from perfume merchant's house in Kanpur. This amount belonged to BJP people. Now same will happen in this case also. He quipped that at that time perfume merchant of Kanpur was said to be associated with SP, hence half of his amount should also be given to us, so that we can invest this money in next elections.
