Chhattisgarh polls: CM Baghel ignites fresh controversy, urges EC to check vehicles of CRPF, ED

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has sparked a fresh controversy by alleging that boxes filled with cash are being transported via CRPF planes. He has called on Election Commission to initiate thorough checks on various vehicles, particularly those belonging to Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CRPF.

I appeal to Election Commission to inspect CRPF vehicles. Taking to his ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Baghel said, “Big Conspiracy? Election Commission is requested to check all special planes landing in Chhattisgarh. After all, what is packed in boxes of ED and CRPF vehicles coming in name of raids should also be checked. people of state fear that BJP is bringing in huge sums of money after seeing it losing elections."
