Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his election campaign in Jhunjhunu, addressing a fervent crowd in his second rally for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly election on Sunday. Highlighting the industrious spirit of Jhunjhunu, he voiced the people's discontent with the Congress, stating, “Our Jhunjhunu, our Shekhawati, is the land of enterprise, those who toil diligently.”
PM Modi emphasized the BJP's commitment to the region, citing the appointment of Jagdeep Dhankar, a native of Jhunjhunu and a farmer's son, as the Vice President. He criticized the Congress for initially opposing Dhankar's appointment and now showing displeasure at his visits to Rajasthan.
PM Modi’s dig at Gehlot govt
Aiming Chief Minister Gehlot, PM Modi asserted, "CM Gehlot accepted that his MLAs and candidates did not do any work in the last five years." He accused the Congress of indulging in corruption and questioned their suitability to govern Rajasthan, referencing alleged improprieties hinted at in a mysterious ‘red diary.’
Turning attention to the youth, PM Modi declared, "The Congress has been the biggest enemy of the dreams of the youth," pointing out issues like leaked exam papers and questionable connections in the education sector. He promised a thorough investigation into Congress-led scandals once the BJP government is in place.
Addressing economic concerns, PM Modi highlighted the disparity in petrol prices between BJP-led states and Rajasthan, pledging a review of prices and decisions in the public interest if the BJP comes to power.
Expressing concern for the safety and security of the people, PM Modi criticized the Congress for creating an environment of unrest during festivals and underlining the difficulties faced by women under their rule.
In his concluding remarks, PM Modi urged the people to choose the BJP for the security and prosperity of Rajasthan, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming vote and encouraging BJP workers to ensure the party's success at every polling booth.
