New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday objected to Leer of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's comments on Hindu community, saying that comments are an insult to entire Hindu community. Rahul Gandhi's remarks came during a discussion on Motion of Thanks to President's dress to a joint sitting of Parliament. “Calling entire Hindu community violent is a very serious matter,” said Prime Minister Modi objecting to Rahul's comments in Lok Sabha.

Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi furr said, "Democracy and Constitution have taught me that I need to take Leer of Opposition seriously."
What Rahul Gandhi Said?
Leer of Opposition Rahul Gandhi spoke on importance of Abhay Mudra, linking it to Congress party's symbol. “Abhayamudra is symbol of Congress... Abhayamudra is gesture of fearlessness, is gesture of reassurance and safety, which dispels fear and accords divine protection and bliss in Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism and or Indian religions,” said Gandhi.

Aiming to corner BJP in lower house, Rahul Gandhi said, “Our great men have spoken about non-violence and finishing fear...But, those who call mselves Hindu only talk about violence, hatred, untruth…Aap Hindu ho hi nahi (You are not Hindu)."
Should Rahul Gandhi Apologise?
Raising sharp objection to Rahul Gandhi's claim that Hindus are ‘violent,' Union Home Minister Amit Shah and or NDA MPs protested and said that he must apologise for his statement on Hinduism.

However, Rahul reverted to objection saying “BJP, Modi are not entire Hindu society. ”If you look at Lord Shiva's image you would know that Hindus can never spre fear, hatred but BJP spres fear, hatred 24X7," he furr said.
