Kolkata:  Senior BJP leer in West Bengal, Suvendu hikari, has launched a portal to enable genuine voters who allegedly could not exercise ir franchise during Lok Sabha elections and recent bypolls to register ir complaints.

hikari claimed that thousands of electors could not cast ir votes during assembly by-elections in four segments on July 10.

"As promised, I have launched a portal where genuine voters can register ir names, who were not allowed to vote in 2024 Lok Sabha elections and recently concluded assembly bypolls.

"Whoever was not allowed to vote, can register mselves, and full secrecy will be ensured. Here's link:- https:avedemocracywb.com," Leer of Opposition in assembly said in a post on X on Monday.

hikari h announced at a demonstration outside Raj Bhavan of alleged victims of post-poll violence that 100 genuine voters who were deprived of exercising ir democratic rights in bypolls and Lok Sabha elections would be assembled before Governor House and y would "expose TMC terror and intimidation during voting".

Trinamool Congress leer Kunal Ghosh has described BJP's claims as "manifestation of frustration among saffron party's state leership over BJP's failure to win seats despite tall claims me to central leers".

"hikari is frustrated after facing repeated rejection from people of West Bengal. He should face reality," Ghosh said.

BJP lost all four seats in July 10 assembly bypolls and two seats in June 1 assembly by-elections, with TMC sweeping bypolls. BJP also got 12 seats in Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal against TMC's 29.
