Union Minister Nitin Gkari has a reputation of being a man of his words. Kwn for quietly delivering on his promises, Gkari is often credited for improving India's ro infrastructure. Speaking at Republic's Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan on Thursday, Union Minister of Ro Transport and Highways said that India aims to be in top three ecomies in world in next five years, providing a vision for country's future romap.
dressing audience, Gkari said, “We have to make country third ecomic power in world in next five years. We aim to be in top three ecomies in world in next five years. This is dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India third largest ecomy of world.”

Union Minister lauded Republic Bharat's 'Nation First' me and said, “I think 'Nation First' is a good me, this programme is based on what country will be like in coming 50 years and what its vision will be.”
Elaborating on roways infrastructure projects in pipeline, Gkari said, "We have done an expenditure of Rs 24,000 crore in Ayodhya. re's always a discussion on rth East, we are working on projects worth Rs 74,000 crore. In Delhi, we are working on projects worth Rs 65,000 crore."

He ded, “After launch Regional Rapid Transit System, time taken to cover distance between Delhi to Meerut takes 50 minutes, While, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be rey by February 2024, after which time taken to reach Delhi from Mumbai will take 12 hours.”
Elaborating on development of infrastructure, he furr ded, “We Indians often talk about shortening distance between Kashmir and Kanyakumari, dream is soon going to get completed in coming one year. Earlier time taken from Manali to Rohtang pass was three-and-a-and-half hours, w, it takes 8.5 minutes to reach re. Zojila tunnel in Kargil stands our pride. I request you to visit tunnel.”
