For people who believe in astrology and ‘Horoscope devotees’, NASA’s new report has me a flabbergasting observation regarding calendar and constellations stating that re are up to 21 zodiacal constellations in total and t just 12. While reiterating difference between Astromy and Astrology, NASA h previously talked about one of 13 major constellations named Ophiuchus back in 2016 but w has entirely highlighted how it might impact calendar. However, new report has also suggested possibility of many more such constellations.

While giving a thorough explanation from concept of zodiac constellations and its origination from Babylonians at least 3,000 years ago, NASA said that even according to ir culture, re were total 13 of m but since 12-month calendar for alrey in place, Ophiuchus was chosen to be left out. Similarly, astromers have said that some cultures have recognised at least 24 constellations in zodiac.

report said, “But even according to Babylonians' own ancient stories, re were 13 constellations in zodiac. (Or cultures and tritions have recognized as many as 24 constellations in zodiac.) So Babylonians picked one, Ophiuchus, to leave out. Even n, some of chosen 12 didn't fit neatly into ir assigned slice of pie and slopped over into next one.”

“When Babylonians first invented 12 signs of zodiac, a birthday between about July 23 and August 22 meant being born under constellation Leo. w, 3,000 years later, sky has shifted because Earth's axis (rth Pole) doesn't point in quite same direction,” it ded.

Moon could be younger than previously thought

In ar startling observation, a recent study has found out that Earth’s natural satellite, Moon could be 85 million years younger than what was previously perceived as per calculations. A team of planetary geophysicists at German Aero Center have used a numerical model to reconstruct process of formation of Moon which oretically was formed as result of a collision between protoplanet body of Mars’ size and ‘young Earth’.

le author of study, Maxime Maurice from German Aero Center has said, “ results of our latest modelling suggest that young Earth was hit by a protoplanet some 140 million years after birth of Solar System 4.567 billion years ago. According to our calculations, this happened 4.425 billion years ago – with an uncertainty of 25 million years – and Moon was born."
