Astronaut captures spectacular view of river Nile at night from ISS; See pics

The image, shared by astronaut Chris Cassidy was captured during ISS’ nighttime flyover above Cairo, Egypt that depicts glowy human settlements along Nile.

A NASA astronaut recently shared spectacular view of Nile river from International station, captured in night. im, shared by astronaut Chris Cassidy was captured during ISS’ nighttime flyover above Cairo, Egypt. On September 9, taking to his official Twitter handle, Cassify shared mesmeric picture of river Nile with vibrant glow also ver with a caption, saying, water is life and that can be ascertained where better than River Nile. 

Cassidy shared two ims of Nile delta region, as it appears glowy in murky dark region. In ims, one could see Egyptian population almost completely concentrated along Nile Valley, concentrated about a small percent of country’s land area. Nile can be seen lightened along brilliant, long-stemmed stream of water in souastern Mediterranean Sea. Also, Cairo metropolitan area can be seen in shape of a bright lit complex network of city lights, demonstrating human settlement in region.

“ smaller cities and towns within  Nile Delta tend to be hard to see amidst dense agricultural vegetation during day,” NASA said about one or photo of Nile captured by astronaut Kelly, photographed past halfway mark of his one-year mission to International Station.

Human settlements visible from ISS

NASA explained that lights were, in fact, “settled areas and connecting ros between m become clearly visible at night.” Likewise, NASA ded, urbanized regions and infrastructure along Nile River becomes apparent in dark in ISS photographs. Kelly h photographed Nile River during a nighttime flyover on September 22, 2015. Kelly (@StationCDRKelly) wrote, “Day 179. #Nile at night is a beautiful sight for se sore eyes. Good night from @_station! #YearIn.” Users were rendered mesmerized at pictures that y described as “giving different perspectives” and ackwledged importance of river Nile that provided for almost 86 percent of Egyptian population.
