Crew Dragon officially join International Space Station crew after successful docking
US astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken have now opened the hatch to the International Space Station at 1:02pm ET of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule at 1:02pm ET

US astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken have w opened hatch to International Station at 1:02 pm ET of X’s Crew Dragon capsule which successfully docked with ISS at 10:16 am ET on May 31. Crew Dragon is fifth ship to have been parked at station, but only first to be manufactured by a private company.
In a joint venture by NASA and X, Crew Dragon capsule blasted off into on X’s Falcon 9 on May 30 at 3:22 pm ET and at least 19 hours later, Hurley and Behnken will w join crew alrey on board at ISS.

According to reports, Crew Dragon’s linkup was automatic and it has occurred at least 422 kilometres above China-Mongolia border. Since capsule was safely docked to Station, congratulatory messs have been flowing in for astronauts and teams working behind mission. X Mission Control said from California, “Congratulations on a phemenal accomplishment and welcome to International Station.”

According to US President Donald Trump, Crew Dragon blasting off into orbit with veterans Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken is “first big mess in 50 years”. Trump also called ‘Launch America’ program as country's “bold and triumphant return to ” with a “spectacular” and an “unforgettable” launch. Pushing for optimism amid a global health crisis, US President said that re is “thing” that country can t achieve if all Americans unite for cause.
