Elon Musk tweets heartbreak emoji with Linkin Park song, Bitcoin market value slumps

Elon Musk’s latest post toppled the market value of the token by as much as 3.4 percent and it was trading at about US$37,790 on Friday (June 4).

Prices for Bitcoin on Thursday slumped after Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk tweeted a breakup with cryptocurrency, making a broken heart emoticon and sharing rock band Linkin Park’s song lyrics. Musk’s latest post toppled market value of token by as much as 3.4 percent and it was tring at about US$37,790 on Friday (June 4), according to Coindesk. cryptocurrency BTC h suffered a major dip only last month after Chinese government anunced a ban on crypto exchanges and Initial Coin Offerings. Cryptocurrency investors were unhappy with market turut and blamed Musk for ir loss and market influence. 

Musk h also signalled that he has plans to sell cryptocurrency during downfall in market. billionaire CEO h tweeted, Tesla has "diamond hands" by using emoji for diamond and hands, indicating that Tesla will t be selling its $1.5 billion stakes in bitcoin. Bitcoin and or cryptocurrencies majorly slumped following Musk’s tweet, as Tesla founder said, "Credit to our master of coin”. X boss h largely fluctuated DOGE’s market value with a separate "CYBERVIKING" tweet in blue neon lights along with a caption in a reference to Patti P's song from 1950s, which shot prices of meme token as high at $0.436622 last month.

$STOPELON token to counter Musk's influence

As Musk’s influence on crypto market has continued, with his tweets roiling prices of leing cryptocurrency, crypto enthusiasts launched a new meme token $STOPELON in a bid to counter tycoon’s impact on crypto’s value. This came after Tesla founder last month reversed a decision of accepting Bitcoin for purchases of Tesla Inc. electric vehicles, citing environmental concerns. With his recent tweet Musk caused token to topple by about $27,000 from its mid-April record of $65,000.

X CEO's tweets rattled or segments of market—such as Samsung Publishing Co., a shareholder in producer of “Baby Shark” viral YouTube song, whose shares shot up to  47,300 Korean won as per Refinitiv Eikon's data this week. This came as Musk tweeted,  “Baby Shark crushes all! More views than humans,” while sharing foot of  popular children’s jingle during  Asian tring hours.
