Comet Neowise was first discovered by NASA scientists who were operating Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer or WISE. Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Caña Flintridge which operates this deep telescope discovered comet on March 27, 2020.

According to a report by a portal, in India Comet Neowise will be visible from July 14 onwards. comet is expected to be visible with naked eyes and spectacle will last for 20 minutes for 20 upcoming days. In United States, comet was visible in pre-dawn hours in earlier week of July but w it has flipped to evening shift.

Hence stargazers in USA can rest assured of getting even more dramatic views of comet swiftly floating against dark night sky. According to reports of a media portal, Comet Neowise will be brightest about an hour and a half after sunset between Thursday and Sunday. Astromy lovers in United States need to look to rth-rthwest and comet should be about 10 degrees above horizon.

Comet Neowise visibility: How to see Comet Neowise?
NASA has furr stated that stargazers should still be able to see comet in rast sky about an hour before sunrise through end of this week, as it will grually slip below horizon. Moreover, as per reports of a portal, best time to view comet during evening will come during July 14-19 time frame. Comet Neowise will be closest to Earth on July 22, as per NASA reports when it will only be 64 million miles or 103 million kilometres from planet as it crosses planet’s orbit.
On its long journey, Comet Neowise will move away from Sun, it will edge closer to Earth around July 22-23 and n begin to fe away. Hence, a viewer’s chance of catching glimpse of passing celestial marvel will improve if y are able to find a location that's free of light pollution, meaning street lights, car helights and even apartment lights.

As per NASA’s latest reports Comet Neowise on is currently near Big dipper constellation which is a prominent group of stars in Ursa Major constellation. On July 14, comet was for visible an hour before dawn sky. However, NASA has w confirmed that Comet will be visible in evening time later this month, before starting to fe away in early August.
