NASA Astronaut Chris Cassidy recently captured some stunning images of the Hurrican Genevieve approaching California. See the images of the tropical storm.

NASA astronauts and satellites have been monitoring Hurricane Genevieve for some time w. formerly Category 4 storm moved rapidly towards California after passing through Mexico's Baja coast Thursday, Aug. 20. However, NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy sent three pictures of tropical storm on Wednesday, Aug. 19 from  International Station. ims show eye and overall size of Hurricane Genevieve. Re on to kw more.

Hurricane Genevieve pictures from International station

ims of tropical storm were captured beneath robotic Canarm2, which is station's solar panels and a Soyuz craft. In dition to this, GOES-16 satellite also obtained a dramatic video of Hurricane Genevieve on Wednesday. picture was tweeted by National Oceanic and Atmospheric ministration on its official Twitter handle. tweet also revealed that sustained wind speeds reached a maximum of 115 mph which is 185 km/h.

NASA has revealed in a statement that AA’s Suomi NPP satellite has also been monitoring Hurricane Genevieve’s progress. satellite has been observing Hurricane in infrared wavelengths to give more information about storm's strength, structure and size. NASA shared a nighttime im of Genevieve based on data from Suomi's Visible Infrared Imaging Riometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument. Describing im, NASA revealed that  tropical storm’s eye was still visible and well defined. ncy also confirmed that it was surrounded by powerful thunderstorms.

On August 20, NASA shared a video of astronaut Andrew Morgan ing stunning pictures of Earth from International Station. astronaut is seen using a wide-angle lens camera. astronaut revealed that ISS was flying rth East and h just crossed Red Sea in Saudi Arabia.
