An event has left scientists baffled and it considers largest star in our solar system, Sun. Last week, some material broke off from mega star's surface and started swirling around its rth pole. This unprecendented phemen was discovered by American ncy NASA through ir legendary James Webb Telescope.

Dr. Tamitha Skov, a wear forecaster tweeted occurrence. “Talk about Polar Vortex!” she wrote on Twitter last week: “Material from a rrn prominence just broke away from main filament & is w circulating in a massive polar vortex around rth pole of our Star. Implications for understanding Sun’s atmospheric dynamics above 55 degree here cant be overstated!”

This event which is commonly kwn as a prominence comprises a large, bright feature that moves away from Sun in a filament-like form. re have been or filament tears from Sun in past, but experts are saying thing like this has happened before. Unusual activity typically occurs at sun’s 55 degree latitudes once every 11-year solar cycle, according to experts, but this incident is stumping researchers.

Solar physicist Scott McIntosh, deputy director at National Center for Atmospheric Research in Coloro, told .com that researchers aren’t sure what causes such a unique event. “Once every solar cycle, it forms at 55 degree latitude and it starts to march up to solar poles,” McIntosh said. “It’s very curious. re is a big ‘why’ question around it. Why does it only move toward pole one time and n disappears and n comes back, magically, three or four years later in exactly same region?”

"While experts mit it probably has something to do with sun’s magnetic field, rest remains a mystery due to humanity’s limited view of its star. Scientists can only view sun from “ecliptic plane,” or geometric plane that contains orbit of Earth," according to NY Post.

Solar projections from sun are kwn to disrupt GPS systems, power grids and even rio signals. Just this month, sun projected multiple “powerful” flares that disrupted communication on Earth, according to .com, although it appeared to be orwise harmless. sun is en route to reaching its peak of activity during current 11-year cycle in 2025.
