Difference between comet, asteroid, meteoroid, and meteors

Comet: Comets are often kwn as swballs of as y are primarily me of ice and dust. Comets revolve around sun like planets in orbit. comet release gasses when it revolves closer to sun, which is also kwn as comet's tail and is visible to us from Earth at night sky. However, t all comet release those gasses because y go extinct over a period of time and those resembles asteroids.
