NASA & ESA show stunning images of how 'Earth and solar system neighbours' look from space

NASA and European Space Agency on Tuesday, January 26, released images of different planets captured by their Sun probe, which is called Solar Orbiter.

American ncy NASA and European ncy on Tuesday, January 26, released ims of different planets captured by ir Sun probe, which is called Solar Orbiter. Both ncies have a joint sun probe and using it y captured absolutely stunning ims of planets like Earth, Venus, and Mars. As per official website, solar orbiter contains six remote sensing telescopes, and four in-situ instruments. 

Beautiful visuals by Solar Orbiter 

post comprises three parts. first part is a video that shows Venus, Earth, and Mars. second part includes ims from Parker Solar Probe, which saw six of our solar system’s planets as it flew by Sun on June 7, 2020. Lastly, third part shows same scene from a different perspective of a STEREO craft. In solar orbiter, remote sensing instruments look at Sun and its extended atmosphere, corona. in-situ instruments measure particles around craft, which have been released by Sun and are kwn as solar wind.

European ncy also shared similar visuals. According to caption, solar orbiter is most complex scientific laboratory ever to have been built to study Sun and solar wind, taking ims of our star from closer than any craft before. caption says, “During its initial cruise phase, which lasts until vember 2021, Solar Orbiter is alrey acquiring data constantly with its four in situ instruments. se instruments measure conditions around craft itself”.
