NASA astronaut Bob Behnken shared a ‘mesmerizing’ video clip of lightning from International Station (ISS), providing a unique angle of naturally occurring electrostatic discharge. nine seconds long video captured from shows violet fringes between dense cloud.
Behnken, who flew in Dragon Crew craft along with ar NASA astronaut Doug Hurley, shared video from his official Twitter handle. video has garnered over 72k views within a few hours and social media thanked Behnken for sharing clip. Earlier this month, astronauts Chris Cassidy and Behnken went outside ISS on for ir second walk as duo swapped station batteries ahead of Independence Day weekend. y upgraded power systems on station, replacing ing nickel-hydrogen (NiH2) batteries with new lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries.

NASA shared video on its official Twitter account in which duo can be seen working on upgrade. Cassidy also shared pictures from ISS, showing spectacular view below his feet. Behnken shared im of a sunset, saying y set camera to automatically take shots every few seconds during walks. NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine anunced last week that ncy is targeting August 1 as departure date of X's Dragon capsule and splashdown is targeted for August 2.
