NASA-SpaceX mission: Falcon 9 returns to earth after dropping Crew Dragon off in orbit

SpaceX's Falcon 9 lands back on earth after American astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken made the ‘history-making’ liftoff to the ISS on Crew Dragon capsule.

American astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken made ‘history-making’ liftoff to International Station on a commercially built Crew Dragon capsule carried to orbit by Falcon 9, which has w landed back on earth. While re are still at least 19 hours until veterans reach ir destination, all initial sts of NASA-X’s ‘Launch America’ program of sending humans into on American turf for first time in nine years have been completed. After entering orbit, Hurley thanked crew members for Falcon’s “incredible flight to ". NASA-X Crew Dragon capsule blasted off from Kennedy Center's historic Launch Pad 39A on May 30 at 3:22pm EDT. w all eyes are w on 'safety' of crew members who are 'flying free'.

70-30 launch

NASA was previously looking at a 50 per cent chance of wear being in a favourable condition on May 30 for rescheduled NASA-X Crew Dragon launch. However, even though latest wear update stated re was a 70 per cent chance of good wear, Crew Dragon mission proceeded as planned. After millions were disappointed with poor atmospheric conditions forcing historic ‘Launch America’ mission to be aborted on May 27, chances of launch being successful on Saturday had remained equally grim until latest wear clearance.

Last time, mission was cancelled just over 17 minutes before countdown was set to begin, but mission crew has said that enthusiasm has t been diminished with scrub.

X is first private company to be a part of program, its CEO Elon Musk had hailed accomplishment as a “dream come true”. two US astronauts were seen smiling, waving and giving thumbs up as y debuted in X suit yet again after mission was scrubbed last time and got readied to board commercially built rocket and craft. Musk also ted that mission is t only momentous for him, but also for ‘everyone' at X.
