NASA revealed that it will attempt for ar launch on May 30. organisation took to several social media accounts to anunce its second attempt at launch of X on Saturday, May 30, at 3:22 pm ET (7:22 pm UTC) that is 12.52 am in IST. live cover of same starts at 11 am ET that is 8.30 pm on Saturday in IST on nasa.gov. craft has a mission to take first-ever commercial flight around two revolutions around earth and later dock at International Station as per official website of X. Docking with International Station and return

mission of X is to successfully complete passenger flight of two astronauts in a craft designed by Elon Musk’s private company in collaboration with NASA. craft will be automatic but can be manned and directed by astronauts on board, if necessary. Crew Dragon will dock on finishing its orbit with International Station as per official website of X. On completion of docking and mission, Cre Dragon will undock from International Station and deorbit turn. On completing mission, X Crew Dragon will prepare to land on its decided course. As per official website of X, "Upon splashdown just off Florida’s Atlantic Coast, Dragon and astronauts will be quickly recovered by X’s Go Navigator recovery vessel and returned to Cape Canaveral.”

Uncertainty over second attempt

NASA ministrator Jim Bridenstine revealed in a Twitter post that May 30 launch will be only done after assessing risk factors related to wear conditions on day. He said that re are final decisions me for Saturday. ministration is still overlooking wear conditions suited for launch. NASA and X are jointly monitoring situation. On May 30, US Air Force’s 45th Wear Squron predicts a 50% chance of favourable conditions at launch time and on May 31 it has predicted a 60% chance of favourable conditions at launch time, according to NASA's official website.
