NASA, SpaceX to launch two American astronauts to ISS on May 27, first time in a decade
NASA has announced to launch two American Astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) on May 27 through a rocket built by SpaceX.

National Aeronautics ncy (NASA) has anunced to launch two American Astronauts to International Station (ISS) through a rocket built by X. According to reports, Bob Behnken and Douglass Hurley will fly on X's Crew Dragon craft, lifting off on a Falcon 9 rocket at 4:32 p.m. EDT May 27 from Florida.
Reportedly, launch will mark first flight of NASA crews from US since 2011 and first launch of a rocket owned by a private company X- founded by Elon Musk.

About mission launch
According to reports, on May 27, Crew Dragon will accelerate two astronauts to approximately 17,000 mph and put it on an intercept course with ISS. Once y will be in orbit, crew and X mission control will verify how craft is performing. Reportedly, crew will be able to dock craft in 24 hours.
Furr, once it is docked successfully, two astronauts will become members of Expedition 63 crew where will perform tests on Crew Dragon in addition to conducting research and or tasks with station crew. However, specific mission duration is still t determined. Once mission is concluded, Crew Dragon will depart station and re-enter Earth's atmosphere and crew will be picked up at sea by X's Go Navigator recovery vessel and return to Cape Canaveral.

About astronauts
Bob Behnken and Douglass Hurley were among first astronauts to begin working and training on X's next-generation human vehicle. y were selected for ir extensive test pilot and flight experience, including several missions on shuttle.

According to reports, Behnken is assigned as joint operations commander for mission. He will be responsible for activities such as rendezvous, docking, and undocking, as well as Demo-2 activities while craft is docked to station. Meanwhile, Hurley has been appointed as craft commander for Demo-2. He will be responsible for activities such as launch, landing, and recovery.

Three astronauts set off to ISS
Meanwhile, three astronauts set off on ir mission to International Station (ISS) from Russian-operated Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Thursday, April 9. According to reports, while two astronauts - Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner belong to Russia's Roscosmos ncy, third astronaut - Chris Cassidy belongs to NASA.
