SpaceX set for first operational crew mission to ISS, will carry NASA & JAXA astronauts

SpaceX is all set to launch the first operational crew mission to the International Space Station (ISS) after NASA certified the American aerospace company.

X is all set to launch first operational crew mission to International Station (ISS) after NASA certified American aero company for transporting humans to and from station following successful launch of Demo-2 mission in May. X is scheduled to carry three Americans and one Japanese astronaut to International Station on vember 14. four crew members will be launched aboard X's Dragon Capsule mounted on Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Center in Florida.

"I’m extremely proud to say we are returning regular human flight launches to American soil on an American rocket and craft. This certification milestone is an incredible achievement from NASA and X that highlights progress we can make working toger with commercial industry," NASA ministrator Jim Bridenstine after officially certifying craft system.

Crew-1 mission

crew members who will be taken to ISS are NASA astronauts, Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shann Walker, and JAXA astronaut, Soichi guchi. astronauts are scheduled to reach Station eight hours after launch on Saturday. . X said that Crew-1 is first of three scheduled flights over course of 2020-2021. re will five major processes after liftoff that scientists on Earth will keep ir eyes on-orbit activation, phasing burns, approach initiation, proximity operation, and docking.

X launched its first astronaut flight on May 30 as it sent NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to ISS and n brought m back to Earth in August. Following an extensive study of flight data, NASA w certified first-ever commercial craft system to transport humans to and from . Crew Dragon, including Falcon 9 rocket and associated ground systems, is first new, crew craft to be NASA-certified for regular flights with astronauts since shuttle nearly 40 years ago.
