Anthony Joshua handpicks neutral judging panel and referee for Andy Ruiz Jr rematch
Anthony Joshua was shockingly ahead on one of the judge's scorecards in his previous fight vs Andy Ruiz Jr. A neutral panel has been planned for the rematch.

After losing original thriller last June, Anthony Joshua will step into boxing ring against Andy Ruiz Jr and look to reclaim his WBA, IBF and WBO belts. It is anticipated to be one of most defining matches of his career. In original fight, Anthony was a heavy favourite to win bout, but after watching a dominating performance by Ruiz Jr, it was apparent that he was ahe of Joshua when latter was t able to continue fight and contest h to be waived off by referee.

re has been a lot of controversy around fight with regards to judges' scoring and stopp. Judges Michael Alexander (Doncaster) and Julie Lederman (New York) both h Ruiz Jr 57-56 in front. But for some reason, Pasquale Procopio (Cana) h Watford boxer 57-56 up. judges h favoured Joshua through opening two sessions and n h to hand Ruiz Jr a 10-8 round in third. But Procopio h a conflicting decision as he awarded Joshua fourth round. However, if fight h to go to scorecard for decision after that round, Ruiz Jr still would have won fight by a majority decision.

Fight promoter Eddie Hearn recently did an interview with SunSport and stated that sanctioning bodies would be deciding referee and judges for Saudi Arabia event. He also revealed that Team Joshua is happy with contenders. Hearn furr ded that everything for fight would be mirrored as per earlier fight that took place in June. He also revealed that it is going to be a neutral panel which will consist of one British and one American judge. re will also be a neutral judge and a neutral referee joining team. bodies in charge have sent out a list of officials which his team has gone through before stating ones y would accept. same process was followed by Andy Ruiz and his team before acceptance. He also ded that it has t been finalised yet, but it looks like ones y have accepted are same ones that Ruiz has as well.
