Aaron me his last public appearance just 2 1/2 weeks ago, when he received COVID-19 vaccine. He said he wanted to help spre word to Black Americans that vaccine was safe.

Aaron’s death follows that of seven or baseball Hall of Famers in 2020 and two more - Tommy Lasorda and Don Sutton - alrey this year.
