Marin, Antonsen and Axelsen through to the finals of BWF World Tour Finals

Reigning Olympic champion Carolina Marin made her third consecutive final of the BWF Super 1000 series campaign of this month on Saturday in Thailand.

Reigning Olympic champion Carolina Marin made her third consecutive final of the BWF Super 1000 series campaign of this month on Saturday in Thailand.

The Spaniard advanced to the final of women's singles in the World Tour Finals with a convincing win against local young gun Pornpawee Chochuwong 21-13, 21-13 in the semi-finals.  

Marin will play the third final against World No.1 Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei on Sunday at the Impact Arena, Bangkok.

Second-seeded Anders Antonsen of Denmark booked himself a spot in the final after winning against Wang Tzu Wei of Chinese Taipei in three games in the semi-final of men's singles, 21-18, 14-21, 21-16.

Antonsen will face countryman Viktor Axelsen, who beat Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei Saturday night, in the second consecutive all-Dans final in two events in a couple of weeks.
