PV Sindhu has beaten Japan's zomi Okuhara by 21-7 21-7 in summit clash that lasted just 38 minutes. While entire nation is celebrating P V Sindhu's achievement, several celebrities across domains took to social media to congratulate Indian shuttler.

Immediately, after official anuncement was me by Bminton World Federation (WBF), veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher took to social media to congratulate Indian sportswomen. Sharing a report stating PV Sindhu's win on Twitter, Anupam Kher wrote, "Congratulations dearest P V Sindhu for becoming world champion. Your victory makes Indians all over world so so proud. Thank you for giving us reasons to rejoice. Your journey is greatly inspirational. Jai Ho and Jai Hind."

PV Sindhu has also won Olympic silver in 2016 Rio Games, silver at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, an Asian Games silver at Jakarta and BWF World Tour Finals last year.
