Satwiksairaj-Chirag's exuberant celebration after winning French Open; watch

year 2022 continues to get better and better for Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy as y not only ded yet anor BWF title but also etched ir name in history books. Indian duo won  French Open 2022 Men’s doubles bminton title on Sunday which was also ir maiden crown having failed to win it in 2019. y also become first Indian doubles pair to clinch a BWF Super 750 crown. Bminton World Federation (BWF) social media handle on Mondy, posted video from final moments of ir historic triumph and also wild celebrations on court.

French Open 2022: Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy euphoric celebration

Indian pair faced Chinese Taipei’s Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han in men’s doubles final of French Open 2022. In battle between two attacking teams, it was Satwiksairaj and Chirag came out victorious 21-13, 21-19. Coming to match, Indian pair pocketed first game has come out all guns blazing right from first point. 

However,  Chinese Taipei pair were not going to let match be an easy outing for young Indian pair. Despite Indian pair taking a six-point le in second game, y were guilty of making unforced errors which allowed ir opponent to make comeback. A couple of mistakes from Chirag, including a service error, handed Taipei pair not only le but a chance to close game. Indians managed to level score 19-19 after winning a lucky net chord and Yang sending one wide from net. After taking one point le Satwik sealed match and title with a smash. Following win, Rankireddy was seen dancing on court, while Chirag Shetty removed his jersey and heed towards ir coach to celebrate win.
