Caris LeVert successfully undergoes cancer surgery, expected to make full recovery

Caris Levert recently underwent surgery to treat the renal cell carcinoma of his left kidney. The Indiana Pacers star will luckily require no more treatment.

Earlier this month, guard Caris LeVert was tred to Indiana Pacers from Brooklyn Nets in blockbuster four-way deal involving James Harden. While he arrived in Indiana feeling fine, he received a shocking cancer diagsis soon after. During required physical tests and MRI, a mass on his left kidney was shown, which alerted his doctors.

Caris LeVert surgery: Pacers guard undergoes successful surgery for kidney cancer

This week, it was anunced that LeVert underwent surgery to treat  renal cell carcima in his left kidney. As per team's statement, guard is expected to make full recovery. Dr Jason Sprunger at Community Hospital rth in Indianapolis performed surgery, which will reportedly need furr treatment.  mass, as per reports, was discovered before tre was finalized.

What is renal cell carcima recovery time?

As LeVert is currently recovering, re is mentioned time for his return. As per team, LeVert will be out indefinitely. Meanwhile, Indiana Pacers are willing to support ir guard throughout process, clock set. 

"I've always kwn Caris from afar, I've never kwn him as a person," Pacers centre Myles Turner said while speaking to ESPN. He ded that he heard good things about 26-year-old – as a player and an individual. " He's gonna fit so perfectly whenever that is, but right w we're t really worried about basketball with him". Turner ded that y want him to continue fighting, and acquiring him was only a win for organization.

Was Caris LeVert kidney cancer detected because of his tre to Pacers?

While speaking to reporters, LeVert discussed this new obstacle in life, hoping to tackle it properly. "For me, most important thing is to get my body healthy and make sure I live a long life," LeVert said. He ded that it remains before basketball for him, which is what he will focus on.

Which is why moving to Indiana gave him a chance to kw what is wrong with his body. "So I’m definitely looking at it from that side and definitely humbled to kw that this tre could have saved me in long run".

Per reports, it is unclear if Nets h scanned his lower back. H this t been detected, growth could have been fatal later on.
