Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard admits that he does not "feel 100 percent comfortable" about NBA returning in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, but said it is a risk he is willing to take.
In a conversation with Mike Greenberg for ESPN's "The Return of Sports" special, Lillard and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver acknowledged the concern that some players expressed about returning safely.

Silver explained that the NBA community has an obligation to try this NBA restart, because the alternative is "to stay on the sidelines and in essence, give in to this virus."
The two also spoke about the platform the NBA will have from their base in Orlando, Florida, to draw attention to social justice issues in the country, as the league attempts to return during this extraordinary time in America.
