David Beckham pens emotional tribute to Kobe Bryant; says 'His legacy will live on'

In a long and emotional tribute to Kobe Bryant, the former Manchester United striker said that Bryant was an amazing human being and his legacy will live on.

Former England footballer David Beckham paid an emotional tribute to Kobe Bryant where he called legendary basketball player a "special athlete, husband, far, and friend." Kobe Bryant passed away on Sunday in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles.

Beckham's tribute 

In long post on his social media, Beckham said that world had lost "an amazing human being." He also mentioned commitment showed by Bryant to sport and recalled how he would watch games in person just to witness a 'Kobe special' in final two minutes of game.

Manchester United star ended his post by stating that Bryant's legacy will live on and extended love for Bryant's wife, Vanessa and ors who lost ir life in accident.

Lionel Messi and Cristia Ronaldo also paid tributes to legendary basketball player. Argentine said that he did t have words to express loss and added that it was a pleasure to meet him and spend time with him. Ronaldo, on or hand, said he was a legend and an inspiration to many.

According to a report in  Los Angeles Times, Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crashed and burst into flames amidst foggy conditions above Calabasas on Sunday morning (Monday IST). official reason for crash is currently under investigation.

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, was t among those on board chopper, according to reports. However, ir 13-year-old daughter, Gianna was also among those dead, reports TMZ. Furrmore, various reports also confirm that Kobe Bryant and his daughter were on ir way to a basketball game when incident took place.  victims included ar basketball player and ir parent, who are yet to be identified.
