According to police department's statement, y found out about a video of Delonte West handcuffed being circulated on internet on Tuesday (Wednesday IST). After investigating, police officer was suspended on same day. Prior to this video, re was a Delonte West video shared where player was being beaten up on roach.

In same statement, police revealed that y responded to a call about a fight near MGM National Harbor casi near Washington DC border. After y reached scene, or man was bleeding after which Delonte West was handcuffed. It was also stated that Delonte West and man knew each or and refused medical treatment. Recent witnesses also claim that West attacked first with a glass bottle.
