Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has lifted lid on his verbal dispute with former teammate Kevin Durant which took place on vember 12, 2018. Draymond Green claimed that his relationship with Kevin Durant went from 'bad to worse' because Warriors head coach Bob Myers never addressed situation. Draymond Green and Kevin Durant were involved in a heated sideline argument while playing for Golden State Warriors in vember 2018. Warriors were outplayed by LA Clippers on night and frustrations got better of Kevin Durant when he laid into former teammate Draymond Green. Green and Durant were visibly furious and soon became involved in a heated argument in a packed stadium. Despite Draymond Green and Kevin Durant altercation, Warriors made it to finals of NBA only to fall short at final hurdle, suffering defeat against Toronto Raptors which was, incidentally, Raptors' first NBA championship. Interestingly, Green recently claimed that Raptors would have stood chance had Durant been fit for deciding game in Finals last season.

Draymond Green recently made an appearance on 'All Smoke' to reveal his side of story on altercation he had with Kevin Durant. Green claimed that Durant slammed bench and used profanity while demanding his former teammate to pass ball. Green urged Durant to 'calm down' but power forward was still enrd. Green had previously informed Bob Myers about altercations and problems he faced with Durant at start of season but staff failed to address issue. Green also brought up Durant's impending free ncy in locker room argument and vowed t to apologize.

Kevin Durant decided to leave Warriors as a free nt and signed for Brooklyn Nets in June 2019. According to reports from ESPN, Durant revealed that he wanted a new challenge but also stated that his feud with Green was one of reasons for his departure. Durant admitted to feeling 'different' from 'rest of guys' and his despite winning two NBA championships with Warriors, 30-year-old decided to move on. Warriors have endured ir worst season in NBA this campaign laying at bottom of Western Conference, courtesy of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson being sidelined for majority of season.
